Let's Continue Making a Difference

Welcome to my campaign website. Serving as the chairman of the Walker County Commission is an
absolute pleasure. It is also a responsibility that I take very seriously. I was born and raised here in
Walker County. I raised my family here and ran a successful small business in Walker County for over 40
years. I’m fully committed to helping Walker County reach its full potential. I know that we have great
people and that our best days are still to come.

Four years ago, Walker County needed new leadership and a new course. I pledged to put my business
experience to work for the people of our county. When the people hired me to get Walker County back
on track, I went straight to work. Over the past three years, we have experienced a true turnaround.
Together with my fellow commissioners, we have taken the county from the reported edge of
bankruptcy to a strong financial position with over 5 million dollars in reserve. We’ve used conservative
budgeting principles to cut waste and reprioritize taxpayers’ dollars into paving more roads and
investing into infrastructure that is going to help Walker County grow for years to come.

We have accomplished a lot in a short period of time, but there is still more work to do. That’s why I’m
asking you, the voters of Walker County, to re-hire me as your commission chairman. With your support,
we can continue to bring new jobs to our area, continue to improve our roads and infrastructure, and
continue to build a bright future right here in Walker County.
